Players ages 8 to 16 are eligible to attend

Players will be split up by age group for the most specific instruction

 

Offensive Skills
Individual Attention, 250 Swings per Day, 10 Offensive Stations, Tee Work, Soft Toss, Live Batting Practice, Using all Fields, Development of Proper Hitting Mechanics

Defensive Skills
Individual Attention, Proper Throwing Mechanics, Footwork Drills, Fielding Drills, Specific Position Fundamentals

Pitching
Individual Attention, Development of Proper Mechanics, Lead-ups to Improve Control, Drills to become a Complete Pitcher

Catching
Individual Attention, Receiving Pitches, Blocking, Proper Footwork and Throwing Mechanics

Daily Schedule

Important Facts
Equipment - Players should bring sneakers, spikes, bat, batting gloves, glove, extra shirt, catcher’s equipment for catchers, water, and lunch.

Registration - To assure a spot in the camp, send the registration form back with a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 ($150.00 for two camps)

Lunch - Players should bring a bagged lunch and drink

Awards - Presented at the last day of camp.

Rain Policy - The rain date for Glastonbury is July 10, Avon is July 17. If it rains during the East Hartford week, camp will be held at the Connecticut Baseball Academy.  Days will ONLY be made up if the ENTIRE DAY is rained out.
