WHO
: Players ages 13 through 18. Players looking to understand where they possibly fit in at the college or pro levels. Not only athletically, but academically.

WHY: 1) To get an honest evaluation of your baseball abilities from Pro Scouts and Baseball Evaluators.
          2) SEMINARS for Players and Parents that include:
                  *Strength and Conditioning
                  *Showcasing – What College/Scouts look for.
                  *College vs. Pro Baseball
                  *DI – DII – DIII and their differences, athletically and academically.
                  *Players and Parent OPEN Q&A
          3) Every player receives a written evaluation of his skills.

WHEN: December 27 and 28, 2007
            8:00am - 12noon (check-in begins at 7:30am)

WHAT:
College Coaches and Pro Scouts are targeting many specific tools when recruiting and evaluating a baseball player. This evaluation Camp will give you the opportunity to show your tools in those specific areas. You will . . . .

Run the 60 Yard Dash for Time.

Hitters Will Take Live BP Through the Length of the Dome/Bubble.

Infielders Will Throw to Bases and Receive Radar Gun Velocities.

Outfielder Will Throw to Bases and Receive Radar Gun Velocities.

Catchers Will Be Clocked for POP Times as Well as Radar Gun Velocities.

Pitchers Will Throw to Catchers and Receive Radar Gun Times For All Velocities.

 

CLOSING: As the college recruiting process begins, all players should know what their target tools and abilities are. This will give the player the information he needs when attempting to become the well rounded athlete coaches and teams are looking for at the next level.

8:40am – 9:10am      *Get Arms Loose
                                *SEMINAR – “what college/scouts look for when defensive skill showcasing”
9:10am – 10:00am     OF’s throw for Radar Times(IF’s next, pitchers getting loose).
                                 **OF’s when done throwing, take some dry swings to get loose.
