The Connecticut Baseball Academy, Inc. has developed an instructional, fall transition program for 12 year old baseball players. The program is open to all 12 year old players that have completed their last year of Little League.

The program will be broken up into two groups, one based out of our East Hartford Facility and the other out of our Berlin Facility. Both groups will play games on Saturday and Sunday at facilities in East Hartford, Avon, and Glastonbury. The East Hartford group will have midweek hitting on Wednesday nights in East Hartford. The Berlin group will have midweek hitting on Thursday night in Berlin. Full schedules are posted below.

We are organizing a Fall Baseball Program that will emphasize instruction for the player graduating to the 90 foot diamond.  The baseball instruction will help develop a systematic approach to becoming a better, more confident player.  All graduating little league players will be accepted into the program., with 11 year old players accepted on a first come, first served basis as openings exist.

The coaching staff will consist of Connecticut Baseball Academy Instructors and coaches from Team Connecticut Baseball’s five-time national championship coaching staff, and will emphasize fundamentals on the large diamond.

The schedule will include group instruction, individual team instruction, games, and tournaments over a five weekend period beginning September 7th/8th.

The total fee for the program is $200.00.

To register, please complete a registration form and return to the Connecticut Baseball Academy, with the program fee of $200.00 payable to Connecticut Baseball Academy. Players registering for the East Hartford group should send their paperwork and payment to 525 Burnside Ave, East Hartford, CT 06108, players registering for the Berlin group should send their paperwork and payment to 598 Deming Rd, Berlin, CT 06037.

Each player will receive a hat and t-shirt, they need to have their own baseball pants, socks, and cleats.  Catchers’ gear and batting helmets will be supplied.  Players are suggested to ask their local league for use of catcher’s equipment.

* In case of inclement weather, the games will be cancelled and NOT made up.  The teams will instead have indoor workouts on those days at the Connecticut Baseball Academy.
