Steve went to Branford high school where he won a State Tournament his junior year. He attended the University of New Haven where he was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 14th round. He played with the Royals from 2003-2005 before he was a minor league rule 5 by the Milwaukee Brewers. With the Brewers he had some of the best years of his career. He finished the 2006 season in Triple A Nashville. He posted a 2-0 record while pitching in relief, with a 1.25 ERA in 21 appearances. The Brewers were so impressed by Bray's performance this season, he was invited to the prestigious Arizona Fall League. In 2007, Steve spent the whole year in Triple A posting a 1.65 ERA in 80 plus innings, making him a Triple A All Star. Steve also spent several off seasons playing winter ball in Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela. Steve pitched for Team Connecticut for six seasons, where he was a member of two national championship teams. Steve is an instructor at several of the Academy's camp, including the Advanced Pitching Program. He is currently our 15u American Coach and has two top 10 finishes and one National Championship win in 2016.
